About the dbl Congress
The dbl Congress is the largest specialist congress for speech and language therapy with a specialists exhibition. The 53rd dbl Congress will take place in Bremen from May 23 to 24, 2025. The content will provide new impetus for all areas of speech therapy, such as prevention, diagnostics, therapy, counseling and research.
About Deutscher Bundesverband für Logopädie e.V.
Founded in 1964, the German Federal Association for Speech Therapy (dbl) is by far the largest professional and specialist association of freelance and employed speech therapists in Germany with around 8,500 members. It is also open to members of other speech therapy professions.
The dbl represents the professional, economic and social interests of its members, in particular vis-à-vis politics, administration and health insurance companies, and works closely with numerous stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
In particular, the dbl is committed to academic speech therapy training on the basis of a uniform professional law, to good speech therapy care for patients to maintain their health, quality of life and social participation, and to the expansion and dissemination of speech therapy knowledge in society.
